Finished painting my new (actually old...1940's?) guitar from my pal Dirk at Guitar Safari. It will be in the rock and roll art show on the 25th. 3 am right now... can't sleep. This hot weather and bad air is killing me... Made up some new prints today. They will be sold as sets. 7 (count'em...7!) 11 x 17 prints in the set and some extra goodies thrown in. For just 30 bucks!

Very, VERY limited!!! Get them fast! Vinnie says the comic books should get here by wednesday... as soon as they are in I will post them for sale. Stay tuned!

Some sad news, I just found out Kristian Dragge passed away (Brother of Fletcher from Pennywise) He was the first person to get a tattoo of my art. He was a true free spirit. Rest in Peace, Kristian. Please help his daughter's trust fund if you can: AVERY NYCOLE TRUST FUND

O.k. wondering what's new here on Planet Sixty Seven? Get ready for my new 40 plus page comic book titled "It came from Planet Sixty Seven" ...what else? My everyday goings on are updated frequently on my blog page (there is a "Blog" bar over there on the left, or just click here: BLOG don't be confused but my pet dogs Chet and Coco have a blog too starting from the day we got Chet at six weeks old. Find that blog bar below. I'm asking that all of you PLEASE buy my comic book when it's out. I have talked all my life about getting a comic book together, and this is a big personal victory for me. I'm only making 250 or so, so order yours when I give the word. They will be here in the online shop soon! Thanks People!

Working on a series of crowd paintings for a show I'm planning in mid sept. that will be at the Croatian Cultural Center here in Pedro on 7th and pacific. Bands playing so far are Bombon (Look for their lp out now with my art too on the cover! Check out Calimucho! for this lp) and Hippy Riot! (a combo of Killer Dreamer dudes and Pine Hill Haints dude). Artists so far? Possibly the pizz, Bigtoe, Dave Naz, Scott Aicher, Craig Ibarra, and waiting to hear from Victor Gastleum and who knows who else could sign up... if you have art to be considered for this show contact me: aichertime@sbcglobal.net. This show is a tribute to L.A. Fanzines and a reunion (of sorts) or tribute to Back Door Man Fanzine (which was the first in L.A.) and for the Rise and Fall folks too of course! We are working to get one more great band, but this is all I know so far... don't miss this show! and remember I'm at the CC center on the first thursday each month with the SP art assoc. for the artwalk too...

This thursday I will be at the san pedro croation hall for the first thursday art show and at this sunday's opening at the san pedro art association's gallery in port o' call (next to the ice cream shop)

The big show is over. Thanks to all that showed support, I can't thank you all enough. As you can see i have this new cool template for the website and I'm fixing the bugs in it still. The shop is getting the same makeover and I hope to be adding new items very soon there. New shirts are in and they go on sale soon too. New art and prints are on the way. I showed with Cannibal Flower last weekend which had a rope bondage show going on at the show (whoa!) I try to keep things PG here... sometimes... I hope you will stop in soon to see the new stuff.

Still adding more to the big show coming up. I added some photos from the Calimucho live painting show I did in the slide show. Thanks to all who live there for having me there that day... I would have painted all day had it not rained. the new intro is a painting I did of my grandparents on my dad's side.

I have an interview this week for a new mag called "Rank and File" it's a new kustom car magazine. Look for it soon. Still potty training Chet. He got a few more toys for his collection. He's just big enough to jump on the couch now. His color changed, and now he has a caramel stripe down his back and a little white stripe on his forehead. Got to go fill my Darth Vader coffee mug with more mud and wipe up some pee or poop too... see you on the 27th!

Still working on paintings for the big show in Feb. Most of the work will be very affordable (you will be surprised!) so come on out to Gasoline Gallery on Feb. 27th and stake your claim to your own Aicher original... now is your chance! The show is going to be big with promotions going out at the roadster show. The Calimucho show in Pedro this weekend too will have some of my work too...

So, I dropped off my 2 new paintings for the new years show at gasoline, and Mark really liked them, so now I'm working on 10 new paintings for my next show there... this is going to be a big deal for me, please come to this show. I will post the flyers when they are made... the new years show is sure to be fun too. I have 2 new paintings in it that will show my new direction style. New shirts soon. (Stella shirts are moving now, get yours soon!) New prints even sooner. Expect good things here soon. We got a new puppy named Chet (sometimes Chetter Cheese) he took over the blog page, and he has his own blog too here. Back to work...

So, as you know by now, Daisy our dog has passed on... She was a big fan of my art. I have a self portrait of me she would stare at, then look at me, then back at the painting, as if to say, "good work!" She approved most of my paintings with a nod of approval (no kidding... she would nod like "what's up?" or wink with one eye... she was an amazing communicator.) One of a kind.
